The summers in Dallas are humid and hot, with the occasional dry wind from the north and west. Winters in Dallas tend to be mild, with sporadic “Blue Northers,” which are cold fronts.

In addition to finding a reasonably priced home in Dallas, you can also find inexpensive transportation. The Dallas Area Rapid Transportation (DART) provides one of the southwest’s first light rails to take to your DFW destination of choice, such as one of the area’s many fine museums.
